Helen L. (Sulham) Baker

Helen L. (Sulham) Baker of Hyde Park died Friday, March 1, 2024 at Copley Hospital.  She was born on July 23, 1938 in Burlington, Vermont.

On July 12, 1954 she married Norris E. Baker of Morrisville. She worked at Copley Hospital as an L.P.N. and later at the Dumont Nursing Home.

She and Norris had two sons, Bryan N. and Brent W. Baker.

She is survived by her sons; Bryan and his wife Lisa and Brent; five grandchildren; Nathan Baker, Heidi (Baker) Allen, Jesse Baker, Serena Baker and Tyler and his wife Ericka Baker; fourteen great grandchildren; Noah, Ezra, Hannah, and Ada Allen; Samuel and Maxwell Baker; Callie, Levi and Ellia Thompson; Salah, Natalia and Riley Baker; Wyatt and Emelia Baker as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Bertha (Lawrence) West, Joyce (Joe) LaBranche and brothers, Robert, Morris, Kenneth and Roger as well as their wives.

During her lifetime she enjoyed camping, baking, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family.

To honor her request there will be no calling hours. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 10am at the Lakeview Cemetery in Morristown with a reception to follow at the Sterling View Community Center from 12-3pm.
